Mengenal Masakan Kambing Ala Solo


1. Tengkleng
Adalah masakan gulai / gule dengan aroma rempah yang sangat kuat. Tengkleng ini cenderung encer, berisi balungan, kikil kaki, kikil kepala, lidah, mata dll. Lebih nikmat bila disantap tanpa nasi.
2. Sate kambing
Sate kambing khas solo punya ciri daging yang besar, ditusuk dengan bambu yang besar. Bumbu utama sate ini hanya kecap dengan taburan kobis dan bawang merah. Anehnya, walaupun dagingnya besar, sate ini tetap empuk, karena diambil dari kambing muda dan bagian daging yg lunak.
3. Tongseng
Adalah daging sate yang dimasak dengan kuah gulai/gule. Kuahnya cenderung kental, manis, pedas. Dengan kombinasi irisan tomat dan kobis, masakan ini paling pas bila dimakan bersama nasi putih.
4. Tengkleng Masak
Adalah tengkleng yang dimasak seperti tongseng. Biasanya, menu ini yang paling diburu dan paling cepat habis.
5. Sate Buntel
Bisa dibilang sebagai menu favorit. Dibuat dari daging kambing cincang yang dibungkus lemak kemudian dibakar seperti sate. Rasanya, kalau kata Pak Bondan sih Mak Nyus.. Biasanya, jumlah sate buntel per harinya sangat terbatas. So, bila ingin pesan menu ini, usahakan datang lebih awal.

Itulah menu utama masakan kambing ala solo. Tidak menutup kemungkinan ada variasi lain seperti rica tengkleng, gulai goreng dll.
