My first love "Maurice the Morris"

I'm about to finally start restoration on my first love "Maurice the Morris" who is my very first car and I was going to restore with my dad before he passed a couple of years ago.

My dream is to supercharge a 1275 and drop it in but they are obviously rare now and I have a few questions for the community.

How have people come to get hold of a 1275? What should I look to spend on one?

They look to be more readily available in the UK, does anyone know what importing is likely to cost and what the benefits or drawbacks this would be?
