KIAI MALIK 81 TAHUN YANG SEDERHANA

Beliau tinggal di Sanggrahan, Prambon, Nganjuk. Pribadi sederhana ala orang desa yang ndesani.

Secara garis keturunan, masih sedarah dengan keluarga besar pondok tua di Nganjuk, yakni Pondok Mangunsari, Nganjuk. 

Keindahan dari beliau adalah kesedehanaannya. Saat mengajar kami di madrasah,  beliau selalu naik sepeda pancal. Hal yang saya ingat dari beliau saat mengajar nahwu adalah sering tertidur walau sebentar. Insya Allah karena munajat pada malam harinya. 

Beliau kalau mengajar model lurus tidak ada guyon. Beda dengan Kiai Ilham Nadir Kediri yang sama-sama mengajar Nahwu shorof tapi masih ada guyonannya.

Siang tadi saya sengaja ke toko beliau (sejak saya kecil sampai saat ini beliau masih tetap membuka toko). Saya mau beli madu. Putranya melayani,  dan dari jauh di ruang tengah saya lihat beliau mutholaah. Era korona saya kadang  memang sengaja menghindari sowan orang sepuh. Eh saat saya ngomong dengan putranya, beliau malah mendatangi dan mendekati saya lalu bicara masa lalu.

Beliau yang sudah sepuh dan pensiun, tapi tetap mengajar di pondok Sanggrahan, Prambon. Alhamdulillah beliau sehat. Kita doakan kiai yang wafat dan yang sakit maupun yang sehat dengan Fatihah...

Foto dengan beliau di tokonya sore tadi. Saya pakai sepeda motor dari Jombang sehingga pakai jaket. Abaikan kabel molor di tas saya hehe...
