Aku masih marah ketika anak bungsu lelakiku pamit sambil menaiki sadel motor temannya. Aku tak memedulikannya. Genting dapur bocor belum diperbaikinya. Setiap kali kusuruh, selalu ada saja alasannya. Dua kakak perempuannya tak mungkinlah kumintai tolong.

Seminggu ini si Bungsu selalu memancing emosiku. Dari rengekan minta ganti android baru padahal yang lama masih bagus, hingga kemarin lusa memaksa membeli tiket pertandingan sepak bola. Upaya mengirit uang belanja dari pensiun janda, terpaksa mengalah oleh ulah anakku. Bila tak mengingat dia anak yatim kesayangan mendiang suamiku, mungkin saja tak kuturuti semua keinginannya.

Dering ponsel berulang-ulang membangunkan lelapku. Belum sepenuhnya sadar ketika suara seseorang di ujung sana, memintaku untuk segera ke rumah sakit. Mulutku terkunci, lidah mendadak kelu ketika kulihat si Bungsu terbujur kaku. Dia salah satu korban kerusuhan suporter sepak bola malam ini. Tak ada yang sanggup kulakukan selain segera menghambur memeluk jasadnya. Terngiang kalimat terakhir saat dia pamit sore tadi, "Ma, aku berjanji tidak akan menyusahkan Mama lagi. Ini pertandingan terakhir klub idolaku, aku harus menonton, Ma ...."
